Front month Dec is up 27 cents, with other nearby contracts down 45 to 52 cents. The CME Lean Hog Index for 11\/09 was $71.25, up 12 cents. USDA\u2019s National Average Base Hog price for Tuesday afternoon was not reported due to confidentiality, with the 5-day rolling average at $60.58. The National Pork Carcass Cutout value was 17 cents lower in USDA\u2019s AM report, at $82.81. USDA\u2019s Tuesday FI hog slaughter is 986,000 head WTD.
