The CME Lean Hog Index for 11\/09 was $71.25, up 12 cents. Pork Cutout Futures (started trading this week) were down 27 cents in Dec at $80.97. The National Pork Carcass Cutout value was 16 cents higher in USDA\u2019s PM report, at $83.14. USDA\u2019s National Average Base Hog price for Wednesday afternoon was reported at $61.05, up 62 cents from Tuesday. USDA\u2019s FI hog slaughter for Wednesday is 459,000 head, with the WTD total at 1.445 million head.
