(…our interview began just minutes before the summer solstice kicked in…)

Due to an oscillating SOI index and warming east of Australia at the NINO4 region, it has been my opinion that La Niña may hold off until after September. If so, this would remain bearish for the grain market this summer with no long-standing Midwest dryness.

On Thursday afternoon, my Bloomberg TV interview covered the following:

1) Why La Niña may not form until after the Northern Hemispheric summer and its potential impact on grain prices

2) How a warming planet has had the most destructive influence on tropical commodities closer to the equator

3) Why natural gas sold off despite hot weather

Please join farmers, ETF investors along with both novice and experienced futures traders who want much more “accurate” weather information and trading ideas from a meteorologist who has been watching the psychology of commodity price moves for 40 years.
